Transitioning from chemically treated to natural hair. This is not a hard process… Work is necessary. Transition Progress is yours to Enjoy!
but it is a process. What you put into this transition is what you will get out of your hair. I am not trying to be harsh, just really real so that you know exactly what you’re dealing with and getting into.
#1 – It will take time to get it all natural. But you do NOT have to cut off all of your chemically treated hair!! The key to this transition is MOISTURE and MAINTENANCE. You must keep your new growth and chemically treated hair moisturized, trimmed, and you may need protein treatments {Some Protein treatments best done professionally}. I have found that Eve’z Way products and other products do work well together. You can wear your hair curly {Natural} or straight {Naturally}. REMEMBER you must maintain hair just like you would if it was chemically treated {with the keratin treatments}. With the liquid Keratin the treatments must be consistent and you need to maintain hair at home this process DEMANDS your participation or breakage will occur. PROVEN. Hair grows at the same rate for most individuals, some have more growth than others but it usually grows at four to six week intervals how much is usually how you maintain and groom your hair and scalp.
The transition usually takes several months to train yes train, you now must retrain your hair from the chemical break down it has been in to restore your healthy non chemically treated hair. Yes you are going to have to put some work into it. This should be a natural healthy transformation for you and your hair….
Some key recommendations to maintaining your own transformation are. Your hair must be maintained, cleansed {shampooed}, conditioned {deep hot oil at least 4-5 times month (weekly)or leave in w/ a cap} your transiting your hair needs a lil extra right now, moisturized and last but not least trimmed. to prevent breakage,{ now there maybe shedding this is the dead hair we all have it just the hair going through it changes} this is good so don’t be alarmed. If you find a specialized person {like myself} that singes hair for treatments it helps get rid of dead hair faster and shedding is a lot less unless you haven’t trimmed in a while. These treatments help restore your hair to a healthier state quicker. You should also oil your hair and scalp, brush it regularly this also stimulates, promotes circulation, growth and brushing also breaks up build up, loosens the debri from the weather and what ever you are using on it daily though all this work you will see and even distribution of your natural oils begin to bring back that natural sheen you used to have as a youth.
- FIND qualified licensed beautician whom is will to love you through this healthy transformation. You need to be dedicated to them {OK you tube is great for ideas but talk to your beautician before you try new things}… You must be married to the idea of of a healthy hair transformation to achieve the natural healthy versatile hair you will hold your head up high and be chemical free.

- Find hair products that work for you and your hair,it make take a few tries unless you know already have one.
- Shampoo, condition and moisturize weekly or bi-weekly.
- Maintain your hair daily, oil scalp {as needed},comb through and brush and style.
